Return and Refund Policy — Deenathletic GbR

Section 1. Overview — Applies to All Customers

This policy applies to all purchases made through deenathletic.com, regardless of your location. Please read it carefully before placing your order.

By completing a purchase on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this return and refund policy. This policy is presented to you at checkout and forms part of your contract with us.

Section 2. Return Window — Applies to All Customers

All customers, regardless of location, have a 14-day return window, starting from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item in your order.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or process related reimbursements for requests made after this 14-day period has expired.

EU customers: This 14-day window is your statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law.

Non-EU customers: This 14-day window is offered by Deenathletic as a goodwill return policy. It is not a statutory right, but we apply the same timeframe to all customers as a matter of fairness.

This 14-day window relates to returns and to the right of withdrawal only. It does not affect your separate statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, which are covered in Section 4 and are not subject to the 14-day limit.

Section 3. Condition of Returned Goods — Applies to All Customers

You are permitted to briefly try on an item to assess its fit, feel, and characteristics, in the same way you would in a physical store. Returned items should otherwise be in an unworn, inspectable condition.

The following constitute handling beyond normal inspection:

  • Wearing the item beyond a brief try-on
  • Washing or otherwise cleaning the item
  • Applying perfume, body spray, or any fragrance to the item
  • Returning the item with body odour or sweat
  • Damage caused by your handling, including marks, stains, or tears
  • Removing tags in a manner that goes beyond what is necessary for inspection

Where handling goes beyond normal inspection, we reserve the right to reduce your reimbursement to reflect the diminished value of the goods.

For EU customers exercising the statutory right of withdrawal: your right of withdrawal remains valid and will be processed in all cases. The reduction applied to your reimbursement may be up to the full value of the item where the item can no longer be sold as a result of your handling.

For non-EU customers returning under our goodwill policy: we reserve the right to reduce your reimbursement or, where the item is returned in an unsaleable condition, to decline the return.

Where possible, please return the item with its original tags attached and in its original packaging. Returning an item without its original packaging does not affect your right to return, but we reserve the right to reduce your reimbursement to reflect any diminished value caused by inadequate return packaging during transit. We do not deduct for damage that occurs in transit on a return that was adequately packaged, as we bear the risk of the return shipment once you have sent it.

Please do not return goods freight collect (with return shipping charges payable by the recipient on delivery). We do not accept freight-collect charges. Where a parcel is sent to us this way, we reserve the right to deduct the corresponding postage costs from your reimbursement.

Important notice regarding diminished value: By presenting this policy to you before you complete your purchase, together with our withdrawal instructions, we inform you of your right of withdrawal and of the possibility that your reimbursement may be reduced to reflect any diminished value resulting from handling beyond normal inspection. This satisfies the legal requirement to provide that information before any such reduction may be applied.

Section 4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items — Applies to All Customers

This section is separate from the 14-day return window above and is not subject to it.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described, or if you receive an incorrect item, contact us at support@deenathletic.com within a reasonable time of discovering the issue, with your order number and photographs where possible. Please do not send the item back before we have confirmed your return and provided return instructions, so that we can arrange or authorise the return.

In these cases, we cover the cost of return shipping, and you may choose a replacement or a full refund including original delivery costs.

EU customers: You have a statutory warranty for faulty or non-conforming goods, which applies for two years from the date of delivery. Where a defect appears within the first 12 months, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless we can show otherwise. This statutory warranty is separate from, and is not limited by, the 14-day return window.

Section 5. Exchanges — Applies to All Customers

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, colour, or item, please place a new order and return the original item in line with this policy.

Section 6. Return Shipping Costs — Applies to All Customers

You bear the direct cost of returning goods to us. Return shipping is your responsibility and is not covered or reimbursed by Deenathletic, regardless of your location. The only exception is where an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, in which case we cover the cost of return shipping, as set out in Section 4.

Section 7. How to Return — Process by Customer Location

EU Customers: To initiate a return or exercise your right of withdrawal, first notify us of your decision. You can do this by email, through the online withdrawal form, or using the "Withdraw from Contract" button in our website footer (the full details are set out in Section 9). Then arrange your return through our returns portal: https://deenathletic-gmbh.shipping-portal.com/rp/

You may purchase your return label directly through the portal. Goods must be sent back within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order. The deadline is met if you send the goods before this period expires.

Non-EU / International Customers: Please contact us at support@deenathletic.com to initiate your return. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. We will confirm your return request and provide return instructions. You are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to our address in Germany. Goods must be sent back within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order.

Section 8. Reimbursement — Applies to All Customers

Once we have received the returned goods and assessed their condition, we will process your reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive the goods back, or from the day you provide evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

Reimbursement will be made in money, to the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We do not issue store credit or vouchers in place of monetary reimbursement. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We reserve the right to reduce the reimbursement amount to reflect any diminished value of the goods, as described in Section 3.

Partial returns: If you return only part of your order and keep the remaining items, we will refund the price of the returned items. Original outbound delivery costs are not refunded on a partial return, because delivery was still required for the items you kept.

Regarding original delivery costs on a full return:

EU customers: We will reimburse your original delivery costs up to the value of our least expensive standard delivery option. If you selected a more expensive delivery method (for example, express shipping), only the standard-rate equivalent will be reimbursed. This applies whether or not the order had already been dispatched at the time of withdrawal.

Non-EU / International customers: Original shipping costs are non-refundable once the order has been fulfilled and dispatched from our warehouse. If your order has not yet been dispatched at the time of your return request, we will refund the full order amount including shipping.

Section 9. EU Right of Withdrawal — Additional Information for EU Customers

If you are located in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and EU Directive 2023/2673. This gives you the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason. You may also exercise this right before the goods have been delivered to you.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal. You must notify us of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. You can do this by:

  • Using the "Withdraw from Contract" button in the footer of our website, accessible without logging in throughout the entire withdrawal period, or
  • Completing the online withdrawal form at: https://deenathletic.com/en/pages/eu-withdrawal-form, or
  • Sending a written statement by post or email to the contact details in Section 1

Upon receipt of your withdrawal notification, we will send you a confirmation on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without undue delay, including the content of your withdrawal declaration and the date and time of receipt.

Two scenarios:

If you have not yet received the goods: Your withdrawal notification is sufficient. No return is required. We will process your reimbursement once we have confirmed your withdrawal.

If you have already received the goods: Notify us of your withdrawal and arrange your return through our returns portal (https://deenathletic-gmbh.shipping-portal.com/rp/). Goods must be sent back within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Section 10. Customs Fees and Import Duties — Applies to All Non-EU Customers

Deenathletic ships from Germany. For customers within the European Union, no customs fees apply.

For customers outside the European Union, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and other international destinations, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by your country's customs authority upon arrival. These charges are entirely outside our control and are not included in the price of your order or your shipping costs.

You are solely responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes incurred on your order. We are unable to reimburse or cover these costs under any circumstances. Refused deliveries due to unpaid customs fees will not be eligible for a refund of original shipping costs. If you are unsure whether customs fees apply to your order, we recommend contacting your local customs authority before placing your order.
